A graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with the highest distinctions in all disciplines (soloist, chamber musician, teacher) and holder of a doctoral degree in teaching and interpretation, Rena Shereshevskaya began her teaching career at the famous Central School of Music for gifted children at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory where she taught for 12 years; in 1991 she was invited to the Higher Musico-Pedagogical Institute Ippolitov-lvanov in Moscow as head of the piano department and piano teacher. The pianist also leads a career as a soloist and plays in the USSR and in the countries of Eastern Europe.After having taught from 1990 to 1993 at the master classes of the International Festival of Colmar, she was invited to the Colmar Conservatory to organize a piano class for precocious children and future professionals; at the same time she teaches at the CNSMD in Paris. Currently, she is a full professor at the Regional Conservatory of Rueil-Malmaison where she teaches the class of soloists and higher levels. She also teaches at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris/Alfred Cortot.Rena Shereshevskaya gives master classes all over the world, France, United States, Canada, Italy, China, in Monaco… and is part of or chairs the jury of various international competitions. A teacher sought after by professionals, she counts among her students many winners of major international competitions. The latest to date, Rémi Geniet, won the 2nd Prize at the 2013 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels or Lucas Debargue at the Tchaikovsky Competition.His students perform all over the world in recital or with orchestra, in the most prestigious halls such as Gaveau, Pleyel (Paris), Carnegie Hall (New York), the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Moscow), etc.  She performs in chamber music with musicians such as Henri Demarquette, Laurent Cabasso, Victor Dernovski, Urmas Tammik and for years has formed a duo with the Russian soprano Ludmila Slepneva, honorary artist of the Russian Federation, soloist of the Mannheim Opera (Germany) as well as with Vladimir Chernov (baritone) performs numerous title roles at the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala in Milan, Opéra Bastille, Bolshoi..." Rena Shereshevskaya is also the designer and artistic director of the cycle "Dynasties and Artistic Families" as well as president of the eponymous association that she created.
