Joséphine Poncelin de Raucourt is principal flute with the Orchester National de France (ONF), after having occupied for five years a position as flautist and piccolist with the Orchester National du Capitole de Toulouse (ONCT).

She performs in chamber ensembles in France and Europe, with the Quintette Promenade, in duo with pianist François Moschetta, or with harpist Mélanie Laurent. They also played Mozart's concerto for flute and harp with the Orchester du Capitole in January 2022.

With the dancer, flautist and mime Elsa Marquet-Lienhart, they created a show around Schönberg's Pierrot Lunaire for musicians in motion, in December 2019, as well as a duet version "Pierrot or the dream workshop", created in October 2022 in Geneva, combining pedagogy and artistic performance.

A graduate of the higher conservatories of Rotterdam (Codarts), in the class of Juliette Hurel, and of Paris (CNSMDP), in the classes of Sophie Cherrier, Vincent Lucas and Pierre Dumail, she also trained with the Orchester des Young people from the Netherlands (NJO) and the prestigious academy of the Lucerne festival, hence his taste for contemporary music.

Curious, eager to share, and anxious to pass on her passion to a more diverse and mixed audience, Joséphine has also taken training in world music, ethnomusicology, singing, and pedagogy and cultural mediation.

She teaches flute at the higher pole of Lille (ESMD).
