Robert Expert, countertenor, has sung throughout Europe and as far as Canada or Japan with the most prestigious phalanges, baroque and contemporary opera, musical theater, oratorio, as well as in recital or in room formation. He is the dedicatee of a large number of creations. Among around twenty records, we will highlight a Vivaldi/Handel recital named best baroque vocal recording by the Lyric Record Academy in 2006, the title role of Porpora's Orlando, a compilation of arias by the most famous countertenors at Decca, recreations of 17th century tunes with the early music ensemble La Primavera… He was the guest of several television and radio shows, Eve Ruggieri dedicated a Musiques au Cœur to him, he hosted a show cultural on France 2 with Patricia Petibon… Teaching is his deep passion: holder of a CA, he has taught for more than 20 years in master classes or in conservatories (CRR of Paris, CRD of Bobigny) both in France and abroad . He has taught singing at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels since 2023 as well as baroque singing at the CNSM in Lyon since September 2017. He participates in scientific research protocols on the voice, and gives numerous conferences on vocal acoustics, pedagogy or certain historical and musicological themes. He was a scientific expert for La Voix, the exhibition that speaks to you at the Cité des Sciences in Paris.  He is one of the authors of the book  The Sung Voice – Between Sciences and Practices directed by Nathalie Henrich published by De Boeck-Solal.
