The pianist Célimène Daudet, from two cultures, French and Haitian, is a soloist whose playing is described by the press as being of a "  lyricism seductive, delicate or burning_cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_”.

Invited to major venues, Célimène Daudet has performed in the United States and Canada (Carnegie Hall in New York, Washington DC, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Calgary, Banff, etc.), in Russia (Moscow, Nijni-Novgorod Philharmonic, Rostov on the Don), in Southeast Asia (Hanoi Opera, Ho Chi Minh City Opera, Dewan Philharmonic in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, etc.), in China (NCPA in Beijing, SHOAC in Shanghai, Suzhou Philharmonic , Nanning, Tianjin), Latin America (Ataneo de Panama Theater, Colombia), Israel (Tel Aviv, Jerusalem), Africa (Congo, Gabon, Algeria), United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi Theater) and across Europe.

In France, she is a regular guest at many festivals and major national venues (Festival le Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, La Folle Journée de Nantes, the Flâneries musicales de Reims, Festival Debussy, Festival d'Aix, Festival des Pianist nights, Nancyphonies Festival, ArsTerra Festival, Châtelet theatre, Centquatre, Salle Cortot, Silvia Monfort theatre, Halle aux grains in Toulouse, Lyon National Opera, Avignon Opera, Jeu de Paume theater in Aix- en-Provence, MC2 in Grenoble, musical theater in Besançon, Equinoxe in Châteauroux, Angoulême theater, Compiègne theater, Croix-Rousse theater in Lyon, etc.)

Sponsor in 2015 of the Festival les Amateurs Virtuoses at the Théâtre du Châtelet, she also supported the promotion of new talents during the launch evening of the Easter Festival of Aix-en-Provence.

All unanimously acclaimed by the press, his recordings are always matured for a long time. Several years on Bach's music led her to the production of two albums: “A tribute to Bach” (Arion 2011), The Art of Fugue (Arion 2013).  “ Dans la malle du Poilu” (Arion 2013) in duet with the violinist Amanda Favier, selected among the best albums of 2014 by Le Monde, was the result of research into a rare repertoire linked to the Great War. In 2016, the first volume of the complete Beethoven sonatas for piano and violin was published, again with Amanda Favier, for the NoMadMusic label.

Célimène Daudet likes to share the stage with artists from different worlds: with the choreographer Yuval Pick, the actress Marie-Christine Barrault, the Yoann Bourgeois company with which she has interpreted Bach's Art of Fugue more than a hundred times.

Trained at the Conservatory of Aix-en-Provence, her hometown, then at the CNSMD of Lyon and Paris, she is a laureate of the Jean Françaix international competition, of the Fnapec international competition, and won the Pro Musicis international prize. It is named " Artiste Génération Spedidam 2014 " and receives support from the Villecroze foundation, the Banff center for the arts in Canada, the Safran foundation, the Suez group -Environment, BNP Paribas. She teaches at the CRR de Paris - PSPBB

The pianist Célimène Daudet comes from two cultures, French and Haitian. She is a soloist whose playing and artistic commitment are recognized by the public and the international press. She has performed all over the world including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Konzerthaus in Vienna and the Philharmonie de Paris.

Célimène Daudet has made regular appearances in reputed French venues  (Folle Journée de Nantes, Festival Variations, Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, Musicales de Cambrai, Piano en Valois, Easter Festival of Aix …). She is also a regular guest on radio broadcasts (Radio Classique, France Musique, France Inter, France Culture, Fip) and television.

Her recordings, from Bach to Messiaen (at Arion and NoMadMusic music labels) are long-considered  and unanimously acclaimed by the critics: A tribute to Bach, Bach's Art of Fugue, Dans la malle du Poilu ( works around the Great War), Beethoven's Sonatas for piano and violin with Amanda Favier, Preludes by Debussy and Messiaen. Her new album “Messe Noire” has been released in March 2020 by NoMadMusic.

Her repertoire also includes the premiere of several works dedicated to her: most recently Numéros by Benoît Menut, Anima-Alias with live computer and breathing sensor by Jacopo Baboni Schilingi and she will premiere in 2021 the concerto for piano and orchestra by Christian Rivet.

She has also collaborated for several years with the choreographer Yoann Bourgeois, with whom she has performed Bach's The Art of Fugue more than a hundred times on stage.

She is the founder of the Haiti Piano Project launched in 2017 with the goal of bringing a grand piano to Haiti and creating the first International Piano Festival. This project has been widely covered by the press throughout the world.

Trained at the Superior National Conservatories of Music and Dance in Lyon and Paris, then at the Banff Center in Canada, she was awarded several times, among which, the International Pro Musicis Prize, the Jean Français piano prize and was named Artist Generation Spedidam. She has received support from the Safran Foundation for Music and her career has been rewarded with the Senate medal. She has also been named as a Young Leader since 2018. Célimène is a Steinway Artist.
