Sarah Maïer is a pianist, teacher, and coach specializing in supporting musicians. Her musical sensitivity flourishes in both solo repertoire and chamber music, areas she explores with great artistic freedom. Trained at the Tours Regional Conservatory (CRR de Tours), she holds a Master of Arts degree from the Geneva University of Music and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She infuses her piano playing with a profound curiosity for all musical languages. Introduced to the clavichord and fortepiano by Andreas Staier, she is equally passionate about early instruments and contemporary aesthetics, regularly collaborating with living composers. It is through her journey as a musician and teacher that Sarah has embraced the field of personal development, convinced that the mind is an essential lever for artistic fulfillment. Having become a senior practitioner coach and Master Practitioner in Ericksonian hypnosis, she now works with numerous musicians, after having practiced at the Musician and Performance Clinic in Paris and contributing to the "Coach's Perspective" column in La Lettre du Musicien. She currently works with Musique en forme, an organization dedicated to the well-being of artists, and regularly speaks at higher education conservatories and health centers (CNSMD of Paris and Lyon, CRR of Paris, Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Versailles, etc.). Her expertise leads her to be invited in France and internationally (Folle Journée in Nantes, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada) to lead conferences, workshops, and podcasts on performance anxiety and musicians' health. In September 2023, she founded and serves as artistic director of "Classique à l'ECUJE," a project conceived as a space for dialogue between artists and audiences, combining musical excellence with a human-centered approach. Passionate about teaching, she now teaches at the CRR of Paris where she is the pedagogical reference for the Excellence Pathway in Musical Interpretation as well as at the CRD of Fresnes.
