AUBRY

Paris Opera

A pianist at the Paris Opera, Guillem Aubry is part of the Brahms class of the Jaroussky Academy. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and the CNSM in Paris, he was a prizewinner at the international melody competitions in Toulouse and Gordes. Also awarded a prize at the Young Soloists Competition at La Sorbonne during his university studies, he is currently doing a third cycle "artist diploma creation" at the CNSM in Lyon.

Guillem Aubry has worked successively for the Maitrise de Notre-Dame de Paris, the Sorbonne-Université Choir and Orchestra and the Radio France Choir. He regularly teaches in prestigious academies and accompanies the master classes of great singers (Renée Fleming, Patricia Petitbon, Dame Felicity Lott and Robert Expert). Since 2023, he has been co-artistic director of “Passions Croisées” in Strasbourg.

Critics (front row, Olyrix) praise his "delicate playing" and his "great sensitivity". A sought-after musician, he is defined as "very committed to his mission and with a fair and sincere touch". Guillem Aubry also writes for the magazines "Pianiste" and "Avant Scène Opéra". A complete artist, he exhibits his paintings and drawings in Strasbourg (illustration of Debussy's preludes) and wins a second prize in the international literary competition "image imaginaire" as a teenager. He also studied classical dance for eight years with Martine Chaumet, a star dancer with the English National Ballet.
