Concert pianist and professor of piano, chamber music, organ, and solfège, Anronio Soria pursued his musical studies at the CSM of the Barcelona High School and the CNR of Bordeaux (France), under the tutelage of Ramón Coll and Francis Chapelet. Among masters such as Vlado Perlemuter, Ma João Pires, Joaquín Achúcarro, and Germaine Mounier, pianists Walid Akl, Alexis Weissenberg, and Alicia de Larrocha, who have described the "Pianística de Joaquín Turina" (IPJT) recorded on 16 CDs, described as an "Integral Historia" in his career, Alicia de Larrocha personally invites him to offer a masterclass at the Granados-Marshall Academy of Barcelona on the centenary of its founding.
Antonio Soria has performed in concert as a soloist in Spain, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Denmark, Bulgaria, Mexico, the United States, Egypt, Germany, Austria, Brazil, Sweden, Turkey, Macedonia, Norway, Russia, Kazakhstan and France, with the Moscow Kremlin Chamber Orchestra, the Leos Janaceck Chamber Orchestra, Camerata Mediterranea, Sofia Solists Chamber Orchestra, FM Classics Symphonic. Covered in magazines such as Audioclassica, Ritmo, CD Compact, Amadeus, the international critic presents him as "a great follower of keyboard glories like Iturbi and De Larrocha" (Horacio Velázquez. Courrier musical de Buenos Aires -Argentina-, no 186, Oct.-Nov. 1997). José Luis García del Busto (secretary of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando) dedicates a monographic program in the cycle "Spanish Pianistas" which he produced on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Radio Clásica de RNE, where he performs works by Soler, Chopin, Granados, Turina, Ravel and Villalobos.
Winner of the "Paper de Música de Capellades" International Music Performance Competition, unanimously awarded by the jury chaired by the prestigious conductor Antoni Ros Marbà, as pianist of the Reinecke Duo in 1994, Antonio Soria holds a doctorate and a master's degree in Aesthetics and Musical Creativity from the University of Valencia and a master's degree in Applied Musicology from the University of La Rioja. He is a career professor of music and performing arts at the "Manuel Massotti" Higher Conservatory of Murcia, currently teaching at the Higher Conservatory of Castilla-La Mancha. He has been invited to teach at international music performance courses, including the "High Musical Improvement Course for Singers" by Callosa d'en Sarriá, with Elena Obraztsova, and the "Baroque Music Course of Benidorm." Denia International Summer Course and Festival (1995 edition, with Victoria de los Ángeles); Festival-Academia at Les Arcs (French Alps); Musicalta (Alsace), University Center. He is the creator and artistic and academic director of ORFIM (Oropesa del Mar, Festival-International Academy of Music, between 2003 and 2010), of the Fundación Sociedad de Concertos de Albacete, which he has presided over since February 2000, the "Music at the University" Course at UCLM, and artistic and academic director of ISLIM (Higher Institute of Interpretation of Language and Music). In 2010, Antonio Soria was appointed by the mayor of his hometown as ambassador for the Albacete Fair, declared of International Tourist Interest, in commemoration of the 300th anniversary of the privilege granted to the city by King Philip V in 1710.
Member of the jury for national and international competitions: "XXXIX Concorso Internazionale Pianistico Rospigliosi "Prix Schumann 2024" (Lamporecchio, March 2024), "XXXIII Concorso Pianistico Internazionale "Roma, Fryderyk Chopin" (Rome, November 2023), "Primios Final de Grado", 2018 and 2017 (Principado de Asturias) He is director of the International Congress of Pedagogy and Performative Research and Musical Creativity which held its first edition in November 2018, dedicated to Debussy, at the Higher Conservatory of the Principality of Asturias, with academic accreditation from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of the Spanish Government. As editor and researcher, he is the author of hundreds of articles published in media such as Amadeus, Melomano, Ritmo, the newspaper La Tribuna, Mediterráneo, etc., and in world-renowned magazines such as the International Journal of Music Education of the ISME (International Society of Music Education).
