Following a first self-taught musical practice, Emilie André integrates the CRR of Nancy then of Lyon in the classes of organ, piano, harmony, musical analysis, counterpoint, history of music, aesthetics. She obtained numerous diplomas there and studied singing at the same time with Christiane Stutzman, Catherine Maerten and Isabelle Germain.
She later entered the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève in the class of soprano Maria Diaconu (first prize at the Geneva International Competition), which led her to sing under the direction of Emmanuel Krivine, Michel Corboz, interpret Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte) in a staging by François Rochaix, or to lend his voice to contemporary creations (opera 4.48 Psychosis by Blaise Ubaldini, tribute to E. Gaudibert)…
She participates in the masterclasses of Teresa Berganza, Edda Moser, Patricia Petibon, Claudio Desderi, Udo Reinemann, François Leroux, Anne Le Bozec, Maciej Pikulski, Leonardo Garcia Alarcon...
His studies are crowned by two Masters : Interpretation in Lyric Singing then Vocal Pedagogy. Emilie André has been awarded several merit scholarships and the Special Prize of the City of Geneva.
Very early on, Emilie André performed as a soloist in oratorio repertoires (G. Rossini, A. Vivaldi, WA. Mozart, JS. Bach, F. Durante, MA. Charpentier), but also on stage (Véronique de Messager , Les Amours de Ragonde by JJ Mouret, Cendrillon by P. Viardot), and in recital (arias by Mozart with orchestra, Geneva and personal creations).
With the Passo Finto ensemble, she sings in Paris (Invalides Museum, Arsenal Library), Strasbourg, Toulouse, at the Château de Chambord, in Airs de Cour programs, Ballets and comic opera repertoire. .
It is conducted by Gabriel Garrido in numerous performances as a soloist : in Venice in programs of madrigals by C. Monteverdi and G. Gabrieli, in Geneva in the role of La Figlia de Jephté by G. Carissimi, in Nîmes, Uzès, Avignon in various oratorios, in Il Festino by Biancheri, and in Il Ballo de Tirsi e Clori by C. Monteverdi for which she plays a sung and danced Clori (choreography by Bruna Gondoni).
With the Lucidarium ensemble, in Geneva, she collaborated on the Fauvel creation at the Cabaret Voltaire, resulting from the association of medieval repertoire (Pérotin, Ph. de Vitry, G. de Machaut) and 20th century music (I. Stravinsky, E.Satie) ; in residence at the Cini Foundation in Venice, she sings in the program The Music of the Merchant: Musical Life in and around the Venetian Ghetto from Shylock's Era.
She embodies the singing and dancing roles of Louise Fusil and Marie-Antoinette in the show mixing baroque and Hip Hop Chevalier de Saint-Georges by dancer Rémy Jules. The role of Anna Giro is entrusted to him in the Swiss production La vie de Vivaldi by actor Philippe Cohen.
Emilie André made her operatic debut in the role of La Ninfa in Monteverdi's Orfeo in Lausanne. We could hear him more recently, still a soloist, at the Cathedral of Troyes in the Petite Messe by G. Rossini, in Paris and in Tournus in Mirjam's Siegesgesang by F. Schubert and in the Brentano lieder by R. Strauss.
Emilie André is currently a singing teacher (PEA) at the CRR in Amiens. Very active in carrying out projects, she allows her students, from initiation to advanced training, to benefit from her knowledge of a vast repertoire : in 2017, King Arthur (H. Purcell), 450 years since the birth of Monteverdi (coordinator of conference cycles, masterclasses and concerts), in 2018, Centenary of the birth of Bernstein and Centenary of the death of Debussy with the class of Musical Culture of Lætitia Marion, in 2019, Recycling project in collaboration with the saxophone class of S. Bertocchi and the Xasax and Thélème quartets (R. de Lassus, C. Janequin, F. Poulenc, G. Scelsi, B. Jolas, M. Svoboda), International Days of Electroacoustic Music (JIMEC/André Dion) with the Tierkreis of K. Stockhausen, in 2020, creation and masterclasses around the Bourgeois Gentilhomme (JB. Lully, Molière, MA. Charpentier, A. Campra)…
